Book of Luke

The book of Luke was written between 55-65 A.D. to Greek Gentiles. Luke the physician and close associate of the Apostle Paul is the author. Luke's goal was to give Theophilus an orderly account and the certainty of the things in which he was instructed. The Gospel of Luke was composed in Koine Greek. The book of Luke is broken down into sections such as infancy narratives of Jesus and John the Baptist, ministry of John the Baptist, the ministry of Jesus in Galilee and Jerusalem, and the death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus.

Daily Bible Reading From The Book Of Luke

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over, will be given to you. For with the same measure you measure it will be measured back to you."
Don't judge, and you won't be judged. Don't condemn, and you won't be condemned. Set free, and you will be set free.
Therefore be merciful, even as your Father is also merciful.
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back; and your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High; for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.
If you lend to those from whom you hope to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, to receive back as much.
